i'm new to the world of CWs, bear with me as i figure everything out! also never (properly) written my own forum post before, so excuse any bumbling and fumbling. i'm learning!! :>

[h3]my first line of CWs are the 'oversized sleeves', a pair of sleeves that i made 2-piece for layering purposes! as of dec 26 (2025), we have:[/h3]

currently working on recolors! starting off with teal variants, for my own nefarious usage (keeto colorr~), and then covering a few basic colors such as yellow, blue, black... you get the idea. not going to do the ENTIRE SPECTRUM but i have seen that there aren't really any CWs like this that are readily available (these will all be unlimited!!) so it's sort of my goal to make these accessible and in many desired colors. ^^ of course, making CWs like this gets pretty pricey... so i'll do it based on my own discretion. buying sleeves helps me release new sleeves, in short ^^
there are of course other things planned, i'm not gonna just be The Sleeve Guy. but subeta style is rather difficult for me to recreate, and i do of course have other things to do, so please don't expect me to release tons of CWs in a little period of time! i'm very stubborn on doing all of this myself, i want my shop to be 100% drawn by me :>
the rest of this thread will be about CW updates! new colors, new releases, all that. but it can also be used for any questions/requests/guidance! if you want a certain color, or have any pointers for me as a newbie CW creator, anything like that, please feel free to drop it here, as an sMail or P2P comment. i am all ears and will consider anything that comes my way!

I love the sleeves but I am having difficulty matching them up with other CW's. Could you maybe post a couple of HA's showing examples of how you used them please?

hi! sorry to hear you're having troubles! here's a few examples, including my current avatar (backdrops and effects removed for better visibility, and you can go through what items i've used!):

in my experience, it's about smart layering and picking the right items. clothing that do not have sleeves will be the easiest to work with, but existing sleeves do not make it impossible ^^

my current HA, for example, uses a very sneaky 'Black Silk Sleeve (Left)' to hide the 'Warm Keeto Paw Hat's sleeve. the long hair helps to hide the black silk sleeve. (left = unhidden sleeve, right = hidden sleeve)

it can be tricky since a lot of wearables have the cutout of the left arm, so you often have that weird void you need to figure out. but there exist plenty of items you can use to fill in the gap or cover it and make it look natural enough. ^^ waist items, particularly bows and skirts, have been a personal lifesaver!

lastly, pairing sleeves with same-coloured clothing will help them blend and allow you to get away with more tricks and layering issues! black in my experience is the easiest! here's an example where the red sleeves clash a lot in the layering here, but with the (not yet accepted at the time of writing, but in the process!) black sleeves it is much more subtle and people won't really notice anything ;>

of course there will be a few instances where the sleeves are completely incompatible. it is a massive shame, but a given due to the nature of how they are posed. very sorry about that. ^^'

if you do a white or a warm beige, I'd be all over them ;3; these are so cute! ty for making them unlimited and ty for making a black recolor too c:

i didn't mention them in my previous post but i submitted a white variant at the same time as the black one, so they should both be accepted soon if i didn't mess up anything! ^^ beige is also a color i am considering, it's a very warm, cute and easily-compatible color, but i am low on CSC at the moment. once i'm able to make more recolors, i'll make it a higher priority!! :>
